When the product or a component is laser scanned the output data is in the form of a high accurate and dense triangle mesh. This data works as a visual sketch and will require manipulation before it can become a final CAD file.
Once the detailed dimensions of the product or a part has been received, cleaned up and smoothened the next step is to refine it into a 3D model. It is here that we step in. Once the CAD model is completed the next stage is to get it 3D printed or manufactured. In this stage most manufactures opt to print a prototype of the CAD model which can be compared against the original following which any adjustments or refinements are made to improve it.
